| After graduating
from high school in 1979, David Allard started working out of a Fieldstone
House he was building for his parents, making custom cabinets and
furniture. David constructed his first woodworking shop from timber
he cut from the family farm and had milled locally. Over the years,
seven additions have been built on the original building and two more
factories have been added, bringing the total to over 140,000 square
feet of production space and employing approximately 80 crafts people.
In 2000, David was recognized as the "Vermont Small Business Person
of the Year" by the Small Business Associaton. An honor which he says
belongs as much to his employees as to himself. Unique to Lyndon Furniture
is a large selection of solid wood furniture styles and a variety
of sizes not normally available from a small or large company. We
are proud of all the furniture we create. We, at Lyndon, are committed
to quality and customer satisfaction. We believe that you and your
family will be proud to own our furniture for generations to come.
