Lyndon Furniture has a long history of providing quality, durable and attractive furnishings for educational facilities. At the forefront of this product line is the Furniture Options Collaborative Learning Table. Originally sold as the “Harkness Table”, Lyndon is the exclusive manufacturer of this version of the unique classroom table that is the centerpiece of a teaching method developed at Phillips Exeter Academy in 1931.

Our tables are designed in various configurations to seat up to 22 students. Each student has an optional pull-out at their seat which allows them to turn their chair to ensure privacy at testing times. The tables can be designed to accommodate any type of audio-visual components that you require.

The Furniture Options Collaborative Learning Tables are built utilizing renewable, solid American Hardwood, not processed veneers or composites that other manufactures use. Our solid wood commitment ensures your tables will endure generations of use.

Lyndon has provided Harkness tables to over 160 of the most prestigious schools and universities in North America, such as Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, St.Mark’s School of Texas, The Masters School in New York, Choate Rosemary Hall and Loomis Chaffee in Connecticut, St. Paul’s Academy in Minnesota, and Upper Canada College, Ridley College, and Selwyn House in Canada, to name a few. We also have tables in Hawaii, Japan, Abu Dhabi, and Bermuda.

In addition to the Harkness like table, Lyndon also can provide quality dormitory, faculty office, student and faculty lounge furnishings and products for any other educational application. We will work with you to design custom products as required.

All of our products are manufactured in northern Vermont of select hardwoods. We are able and willing to meet all LEED requirements as outlined by the United States Green Building Council in any new construction or renovation. We have the capability to take on large projects, but the flexibility to provide one of a kind pieces.
